LET ME NOT SAY HIS NAME

Let me not say his name
for my own sake.

He’s a god she worships
silently.

Colour comes to her cheeks
on slight indication of him
But the appearance occur
with the bleeding beneath my rib cage.

He’s a king also
in her eyes.
How could she stop admiring him
Until he be a tyrant too.

Her looks I get, when
beside him is enough torture
More than a mighty majestic sword
could inflict.

I’ll never speak his name before her.
Even with the birth of his name
My death becomes definite.
